# Sin Star I - Accepted Story Decisions

Authority: Sin's September 15, 2026 storyboard prompt accepts D01 through D16 from
the September 14 draft script and explicitly revises D10. This file and the v0.2
script supersede the v0.1 labels that called these decisions working choices.
Dialogue, visual designs and detailed encounters remain draft material.

| ID | Accepted canon |
| --- | --- |
| D01 | Arin's opening is in Neris on an unnamed inhabited world. Kael detects his remote resonance while visiting Earth. |
| D02 | Arin wears inexpensive Neris surplus armor; its resemblance to service equipment does not give him a military history. |
| D03 | A damaged ancient relay supports Neris's water and energy systems. Mismanagement, shortages, concealed faults and Axiom disturbances overlap. |
| D04 | Mira leaves with a limited investigative mandate and a relief handover. |
| D05 | Veyra is a Kynari frontier/trading world, not their hidden ancestral homeworld. Its evacuation introduces Orin, followed by Zara and Milo. |
| D06 | Wearable devices translate Kynari language; they do not create intelligence. Kynari spatial/scent engineering gives Milo skills distinct from Zara's. |
| D07 | Elemental arts are limited expressions of the Axiom. Living authority, coherence and deliberate control matter; sound recordings cannot reproduce Arin's effects. |
| D08 | Verified war records identify a particular artificial combat faction and unit behind the ship attack. Zara has no personal connection to it. |
| D09 | Use the home village and East Valley labels. Orin was an unwitting beneficiary. His exact age, relatives' names and his father's prior knowledge remain open. |
| D10 | **Orin's father was never prosecuted because prosecution would expose deeper corruption within the military.** The present inquiry exposes suppression. Reform begins but is not completed by a boss fight. Suppression does not acquit or absolve the father. |
| D11 | Ancient archives establish imported human ancestral patterns, consciousness participating in reality and persistent traces after death. This is fictional cosmology. It does not establish routine resurrection. |
| D12 | Earlier renewals were iterations of one continuing experiment and preserved Kael. His first physical return triggers a different termination condition that would discard him too. |
| D13 | Access needs two distinct compatible living signatures, not agreement. Rewriting foundations requires sustained cooperation. Arin's protective counter-Axiom accidentally completes access. |
| D14 | A pretested synchronized field aligns the party with elapsed time at home. It neither freezes the universe nor rewinds departure. |
| D15 | The party severs Aevos's destructive supervisory access while preserving the independent sustaining machinery. |
| D16 | Arin survives. Kael leaves the Origin alive but critically wounded, with no promised eventual recovery. Arin's lifespan remains unknown. The immediate-death alternative is a superseded comparison. |

## What remains open

- Kael's eventual prognosis and capacities; Arin's lifespan and future development.
- The old man's identity and the mechanism behind Orin's restorative lightning strike.
- What Orin's father knew before diverting supplies; the original exposure route,
individual suppressors, threats, correspondence arrangements and his mother's knowledge.
- Mira's parents' exact responsibility and the unfinished course of reform.
- Finer limits of conscious participation, surviving traces and the phrase half human.
- Kael's exact Earth/Mars origin, remaining names and the Axiom's spoken form.
- Q14's exact bodily fate for Aevos: the storyboard follows v0.1's staged death;
acceptance of D15 settles the safe separation of control, not every Q14 detail.
- Detailed gameplay, casting, performance and final art. Marriage, a child and
later power development remain reserved for Sin Star II.

Q08, Q09 and Q11 no longer need initial approval. Q05, Q06, Q10 and Q12 have
resolved portions; their remaining details stay open. D16 settles the first game's
survival path without settling Kael's eventual outcome. Do not reopen accepted
decisions merely because an older source calls them proposals.

## Storyboard adaptation

The storyboard compresses all 47 main scenes and six optional scenes into 72
panels. Quotations may be shortened for pacing; connective captions and the D10
investigator dialogue are newly drafted. New architecture, background residents,
wardrobes and staging visualize the story and are not additional canon decisions.
The script uses **Aevos**; the prompt's **Aveos** caption is treated as the same
character, not a new name or character.

The father's full plea remains in C06-S04 of the revised script, including his
apology and request for forgiveness. The short comic dialogue does not replace
the complete scene.

## Source record

- Storyboard instruction: `2026-09-15 1809 - Sin Star I - Story Board.html`.
- Script actually present and read: `2026-09-14-0018 - Sin Star I - Script v0.1.html`.
- The later supplied spelling `2026-09-14 0018 - Sin Star I - Draft Game Script v0.1.html`
was not present when checked. The existing complete v0.1 copy was used.
- Original script SHA-256: `26d334aac76ae276807b0163430caabedcb3e4e23f143ec218b57a43f82681b3`.
- Supplied poster and character turnarounds guide Arin, Mira, Orin, Milo and Kael.
The supplied Origin image guides Aevos and the arena. Zara follows the central
  red/charcoal artificial character in the existing ZaraV1 native preview;
the background human artwork in that screenshot is not Zara's reference.
- New panels were produced with the built-in image-generation tool. The complete
prompt set and reference paths are in `Storyboard-Draft-1/art-prompts.json`.

This is story and illustration work. It changes no SMILE syntax, runtime feature,
character model, calibration, executable, VSIX or deployed Web application.
